Whee~
CDJapan srung yet another surprise on me!
嵐's Step and Go arrived this afternoon =))

Watched SC last night on NHK. And there was 嵐's performance of Happiness and Step and Go. I liked that version of Step and Go. Somehow it looked pretty; with the confetti simuating the cherry blossoms.. it worked.

Well anyway, the fact that trivial things like these make my day only point to the other fact that I have been as busy as a worker bee.
No kidding.

And on the way back from school just now, I got a little emo when it really dawned on me that these are my last days in NIE. It felt like the couple of years just flew by.

I've definitely enjoyed myself in NIE.
Mainly because there wasn't anyone I had to constantly please and for once, I could think and act FOR myself.
I never knew that it could be that liberating to be able to do so.

Add to that the fact that I had 4 full hours to myself as I travel back and forth every single day.
I had so much 'me' time to reflect on SO many things and this eventually led to the increased acceptance of my self.

Wah, no kidding man.
My stint in NIE has meant so much more than learning how to teach.
I felt like I have really grown up and matured here.

And of course, it's also thanks to these people that made NIE that much more enjoyable.
Yasmin
Shai
Ash

And all the other wonderful people that I've come across one way or another.
(Giraffes and b***-faces excluded)

So thanks guys. You're prolly gonna be what makes me miss NIE the most.
^^

Oh yes, I have to say this.
I realise I have been surprisingly tolerant of the lengthy journeys to and from school!
And I think that should say quite a lot, eh?
(",)v

Somehow, I don't feel like I'm ready to go out there to start teaching.
Don't get me wrong, I'm confident that I'll be able to do a proper job at it skills-wise.
But the thought of shouldering real responsibilites gives me the shudders actually.
But then again, it will come one day, sooner or later right?
Oh well...

Yeah one more thing!

Anyone with any ideas where I could bring a friend from overseas who will be on holiday here?
I've just realised that the week he'll be here, it's the March holidays.

Which means that I won't only be spending the evening/night with him.
(eek , that sounds kinda wrong doesn't it? but you get my drift rite?)

I would have a whole day and a half to bring him and his friend around Singapore.

Help, people.

Oh, he asked me if he could swim.
Lol.
The poor thing's from Japan btw.
Where it has been really cold these past few months.

So I was thinking that maybe Wild Wild Wet would be a good idea, no?
